CEDAR facilitates curricular and, more general, programme development by scaffolding programme reform and development processes. We support you by
- offering comprehensive expert information on curriculum development and reform processes in guidelines and publications
- conducting individual, one-to-one consultation meetings with you and colleagues involved in the programme, that are focused on your specific institutional, disciplinary and political environment
- facilitating workshops and other events designed to guarantee broad participation by the relevant stakeholder groups
- gathering and using data for improving curricular structures and processes in your study programme.
In all our work in this field, we emphasize the organizational, constructive alignment of all elements involved. To us, it is most crucial to “bring life” to the intended curriculum by facilitating a strong participation of the instructors teaching in the programme (implemented curriculum) as well as the (prospective) students in the programme (experienced curriculum).
