Further Education in Vocational Education

With the Eastern Switzerland Competence Center for Vocational Education and Training (OKB), the IWP has established a network with the Pedagogical College of St. Gallen and the Center for Continuing Vocational Education and Training (ZbW). The aim of this network is in particular to work with:

• The aim of the annual symposium (OKB) is to address current issues and challenges in vocational education and training and to bring vocational education and training stakeholders together for discussion.
• to develop and discuss positions on issues relating to the design of teacher training for vocational schools and company training staff.

We offer the nationally recognized IWP-HSG CAS course for secondary school II for school management and department heads at vocational schools. In addition, we offer numerous management courses for extended school management and teachers with special responsibilities. With these courses, we deliberately combine grammar schools with vocational schools and technical colleges.

For teachers at vocational schools, we offer further education courses on business administration, economics and law, as well as on interdisciplinary issues. To this end, we work together with experts from the University of St. Gallen and business practice.
